Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0

Our Digital Grandparent really liked Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 when it was released in a PC-only format, and now that there's a Mac version, even more digital photographers can enjoy this friendly, easy-to-use image editing program. Priced considerably less than the more advanced Photoshop CS3 program, Adobe Elements 6.0 has tons of great editing tools in a cleaner, less cluttered interface designed to draw attention to your photos.

Other features of note in Adobe Photoshop Elments 6.0 include its new "Photomerge" technology which lets you easily combine the best facial expressions and body language from a series of images to create an ideal group shot; a new Quick Selection Tool for isolating sections of your photos for fast edits on the fly; and a Guided Edit mode that walks you through the steps of how to improve your photos.
