My son went to see the NY Islanders play the Montreal Canadians last week - and before he went he asked me to borrow my camera - I handed him my current point and shoot - a
Panasonic TZ-5, and off he went. Well, the game was about as exciting as it gets - it ended in a shoot-out, which the Islanders ended up loosing on the last shot, when the goalie saved the puck while falling into the net. (A call that was disputed, of course). When Zach came home, he showed me the VIDEO he had taken of the shoot-out - and it was like watching it on TV! Sometimes we forget that most of our compact point and shoots have a high-quality video function, that can be switched on at the touch of a button. Now, we're all not heading to hockey games (except maybe Ms. Palin), but for that sudden, unexpected moment, remember the video!
