Adorama Announces Grand Prize Winner of First iPhone Photo Contest

Adorama, one of the nation’s premier photography and consumer electronics resellers, announced the grand prize winner of its first annual iPhone photography contest. The award was created by Adorama to spotlight the rapid rise in popularity of the iPhone as a new platform for digital point-and-shoot photography. Selected from more than 17,000 submitted images, the winning entry, titled So Long & Farewell (http://contest.adorama.com/entries#12815), was created by Neville Black using an iPhone and three different imaging apps to edit the image. Quite a coup for the mighty Canon 5D Mark II: the final season of the hit TV show House was filmed using one. Sayeth the director: “I loved it and feel it’s the future."
