Amazing Lion Photos From Photographer Who Submerged Himself in Watering Hole for Months

A very daring wildlife photographer, Greg du Toit, was so determined to shoot the perfect image of wild lions drinking, he submerged himself in their watering hole for three months. He endured a year of failed attempts at getting just the right picture. He tried building hides and dug trenches near the animals' drinking spot, but never got the pictures he was yearning for. Finally he decided to take the plunge and climb into the murky watering hole with his camera and got the shots of a lifetime. Art of Photography Show Competition & Exhibition Announces 2010 Dates

The sixth annual Art of Photography Show, an international competition and exhibition of photographic art, announced its 2010 schedule and goal of increasing exposure opportunities for photographers. Producer Steven Churchill also announced the name of the judge for the 2010 show, Natasha Egan, the associate director and curator at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.
