

Vivitar unveiled over a dozen new digital camera models, with a range of user-friendly features and affordable price points.
The ViviCam V5028 is a 5.1 megapixel model with a swing-out 1.8-inch preview screen to make taking self-portraits easier. The compact camera has 4x digital zoom, face detection, anti-shake capabilities, and USB connection. It’s powered by three AAA batteries. $69.
The ViviCam VX018 offers 10.1MP, a swing-out 1.8-inch preview screen, 4x digital zoom, face detection, anti-shake and a USB connection. It, too, uses three AAAs. $99.
The underwater, all-weather ViviCam VT026 is a 12.1MP model with a 2.4-inch preview screen, 4x digital zoom, face detection, USB connection and anti-shake capabilities. It operates off of rechargeable lithium batteries. $199.
Vivitar’s VF540 incorporates 14.1 megapixels and GPS capabilities that link to Vivitar geotagging software. The model features a 3.0-inch full touch-panel screen, 5x optical zoom, face detection, anti-shake, USB and Li-Ion battery. $199.
