I stumbled over this today and just loved the idea that experts, people who know a lot more than I do believe baby boomers will begin and carry the economic recovery everyone is hoping for. Baby boomers, economic recovery - wise, are a force to be reckoned with and have a ton of impact on our nation. Here's the quote I enjoyed so much from

My husband and I feel we're doing exactly that. We spend when we need to, but aren't afraid to say "no" when it's prudent to do so. We demand good value and great customer service. We'd rather pay a bit more and get personal attention than hang out at big box stores scarfing up mega tons of stuff as we might have done once. Let's hear it for frugal and prudent boomers who will, once again, contribute value and ardor to this countries well-being.
