Natural Sleep without Pills? Sleep Tracker Might Help You Sleep

Cure insomnia with technology? Am I kidding? Get natural sleep. Sleep without pills? How fantastic for insomniacs. Without pills, but with circuit boards? Well, maybe digital sleep isn't exactly what I found. Sleep Tracker Pro looks like a bulgy wristwatch. It's worn on your wrist. Sleep Tracker Pro can help you figure out why you have insomnia.

Sleep Tracker records sleep and wake cycles - keeps track of how you sleep. Via a USB port connection, it can import that information to your computer's hard drive. You can input other criteria to your computer and compare or track how they all affect each other. For example, how does your work out schedule affect your sleep patterns or your insomnia? Does your intake of alcohol prevent sleep? Do you get better, more natural sleep when you stop eating several hours before retiring?

Sleep Tracker Pro can also be programmed to recognize a window in which you need to wake up and then coordinate your wake up to a period of lightest sleep, in that window, which means you wake up less groggy and more energetic, in theory. The boomer friendly gagdet costs about $149-$179.

I haven't used it, but it sure looks interesting on those nights when I'm staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m.

Before you go, take a look at our Born Digital guy as he explains downloading TV shows from the web. What's a Hulu? He'll tell you and it might even help you...get to sleep!
