
Olympus
pulled back the curtain on a pair of new Micro Four Thirds lenses today. The
M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75-300mm f4.8-6.7 with a 35 mm equivalent of 150-600mm is being dubbed the world’s smallest and lightest 600mm super telephoto lens. It weighs in at15.17 ounces and 2.76 by 4.57 inches. Yours for just $899 (shipping in December).
The other lens is the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm (80-300mm, 35mm equivalent). This $299 lens weighs in at 6.7 ounces and features an aperture range of f4.0-5.6.
The company also introduced a new "black on black" kit for its E-P2 PEN camera. It bundles the E-P2 in a "retro black" body style alongside a 17mm lens. Look for it in October for $999.
