A business colleague of ours was heading to San Francisco recently for Macworld Expo 09 and updating his Facebook page as he cruised at 36,000 feet.
"Michael is 1 hour from landing in San Francisco...thanks American Airlines for WiFi at 36,000 feet..." our colleague posted as his "status" on his Facebook page. Michael's update was followed by a flurry of Facebook commentary from his friends and colleagues on the ground.
"Isn't that illegal?" someone wrote as a follow-up to Michael's post.
"How much they charging you for inflight WiFi?" I asked.
"Is Michael's tray stowed and his seat-back in an upright position?" someone else...
