Speaking of Blu-ray, an Australian news site has posted a great photo essay on how Blu-ray discs are made. The essay, which walks you from the very beginning when each disc starts its life as "a collection of small polycarbonate granules," was shot at a new Sony Blu-ray factory that opened up near Sydney, Australia.
