Satellite Radio Goes Up $2 Per Month

To add insult to injury, after last week's less than exciting Sirius XM iPhone App which is only being offered to premium subscribers and doesn't include the Howard Stern, Major League Baseball, or NFL channels, the company announced that it's now going to charge subscribers an extra $2 every month. C'mon Sirius XM satellite radio, I'm tired of apologizing for you and making excuses and hoping against hope that you'll somehow find a way to survive during the economic downturn which has seen much of your client base -- new car installations -- flatline while other subscribers drop away for better, cheaper and easier services on the Internet and the iPhone.
