Pentax Japan Releases Official K-7 DSLR Sample Image

Earlier this week, DemystifyfingDigital.com posted my hands-on first look at the new 14.2MP Pentax K-7 digital SLR. In my sneak peek, I posted some sample images I shot with a pre-production version of the camera I got to test out.

Since that preview, Pentax HQ in Japan has posted four "official" sample images captured with the K-7. All images were captured as RAW files and shot at ISO ISO. You can view and download those pix from Pentax Japan's site by clicking here.

Read my hands-on look at the camera by clicking here.

I've also posted one of the Pentax Japan samples in a down-scaled version below.

Wow, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article...
but what can I say... I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get something done.

I am not much into reading, but somehow I got to read nice information on your site. Simple to understand and helpful. We will look forward for your future updates.

Thanks

Ir is nice to know that Pentax is the first Japanese company to release a 35mm SLR in 1952 and, for quite a while, were the defacto standard for 35mm photography.
