Pentax Japan Releases Official K-7 DSLR Sample Image

Earlier this week, DemystifyfingDigital.com posted my hands-on first look at the new 14.2MP Pentax K-7 digital SLR. In my sneak peek, I posted some sample images I shot with a pre-production version of the camera I got to test out. Since that preview, Pentax HQ in Japan has posted four "official" sample images captured with the K-7. All images were captured as RAW files and shot at ISO ISO. Panasonic GH1 Gets Official Pricing

It's pretty rare when a manufacturer devotes a whole press release just to announcing a camera's pricing but that's what Panasonic has done with its hotly anticipated but still un-priced Lumix DMC-GH1 which they will be selling in June for...drum roll, please...$1499.95. Official pricing on the GH1, which can shoot full 1080p high-definition video at 24 frames per second, was announced this morning even though New York Times columnist David Pogue, who had the first hands-on review of the camera last week, had already announced the $1,500 price-tag in his column. Bento for the iPhone

Speaking of great iPhone apps for Biz Fast Trackers, I'm happy to see that one my favorite business organizational programs is now available for the iPhone. Called Bento -- it's named after those traditional Japanese "box" lunches -- the program is a great way to sync your digital calendars, special projects, expenses, client lists, billing, shipping info, and many other tasks in one piece of software.
