Breaking News: Steve Jobs Taking "Leave of Absence" from Apple

Breaking news out on the wire is that Steve Jobs' health problems may be more serious than he had announced prior to Macworld Expo in San Francisco earlier this month. Jobs sent out a letter to Apple employees today saying that his "health-related issues are more complex" than he had originally thought and he will be taking himself "out of the limelight" to focus on his health. Prior to Macworld, which Jobs sat out this year, he said he was suffering from a "hormone imbalance" and that "the remedy for this nutritional problem is relatively simple and straightforward." Inflight Wi-Fi: Do We Really Want Access to Work from the Plane?

A business colleague of ours was heading to San Francisco recently for Macworld Expo 09 and updating his Facebook page as he cruised at 36,000 feet. "Michael is 1 hour from landing in San Francisco...thanks American Airlines for WiFi at 36,000 feet..." our colleague posted as his "status" on his Facebook page.
