Lexar Media recently announced a new line of Memory cards specifically designed for capturing extended, standard, and high definition video (HDV). The Lexar Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Full-HD and the Lexar Memory Stick PRO Duo Full-HD Video memory cards are great solutions for your digital camcorders and digital point-and-shoot cameras.

I have years worth of tapes in my house, as I am sure you do as well, filled with our family memories from the past. Now, with a media card the size of a postage stamp, I can easily record six hours of video. I never would have imagined the ease of use and the level of quality from something so small.

Of course, what do I do with all of that video? I want to download it to my computer and burn DVDs or upload it to sites that I can share with my family. Lexar thought about that as well. The Lexar Full-HD video memory cards offer high-speed video transfer from the card to your computer for backup and sharing. Time is precious so this feature is one I really like.

The Lexar SDHC Full-HD Video memory card is available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB, and records up to 90, 180, and 360 minutes of video, respectively. The Lexar Memory Stick PRO Duo Full-HD Video memory card comes in 4GB and 8GB, and can record up to 90 and 180 minutes, respectively.

When you make the move to an HD camcorder, you want to make sure your memory cards take full advantage of all of those HD features. These Lexar cards have you covered. Even if you are shooting with a digital point-and-shoot camera, most have video capture technology built into them now. So buying a card with the ability to handle HD so well makes the most sense.

Whether you are capturing your kid's school plays, dance or music recitals, or sports events like me, a card that can capture 1080p HD video is now a must.

The Lexar SDHC Full-HD and Memory Stick PRO Duo Full-HD Video memory cards have a five-year warranty, come in a jewel case to protect them, and have labels you can write on to help keep things organized.

The Lexar SDHC Full-HD Video memory cards start at $29.99 and the Memory Stick PRO Duo Full-HD Video memory cards start at $34.99. Reasonable for the convenience of quality HD video and high-speed video transfer at your fingertips.
