Now that digital SLRs such as the Nikon D5000, Canon Rebel T1i, and Pentax K-7 and K-x can also shoot High Definition Video (HDV), many photographers are having to learn a new skill: how to make a great movie. If you've spent your life shooting still photos, it's not easy though.
One of the gurus of the HD-DSLR movement is filmmaker Phillip Bloom. Bloom recently spoke to Photofocus about how still photographers can make the transitition to video more smoothly. Here's a Photofocus video of Bloom's tips on shooting with an HD-DSLR.
