Dover, NJ—Casio’s newest Exilim compact cameras, the EX-S7 and EX-Z35, boast intelligent automated functions in stylish form factors and a variety of colors.
Both the S7 and Z35 offer modernized features and improved image processing via best shot mode, easy mode and face detection to deliver images that can be shared on a variety of social media platforms, such as Facebook and YouTube. Movies can be recorded using the ideal settings for YouTube and recorded movies can be uploaded with the included software.
EX-S7. Developed with Casio’s Exilim Engine 5.0, engineered to deliver higher image quality and lower power consumption, the EX-S7 is a 12.1-effective megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. With a quick-access dedicated movie button, users can record 720p HD movies. They can also utilize Casio’s dynamic photo function, a Hollywood-like green-screen effect that adds animated graphics into still photos so unique e-greetings can be created for e-mailing, posting on social networks and printed out. The EX-S7, compatible with SD/SDHC cards, will be available this spring in black and purple. $139.99.
EX-Z35. Featuring Casio’s easy mode, a simplified menu screen, face detection and a 3x optical zoom lens, the 12.1MP Z35 is designed for those with an active lifestyle. The EX-Z35 comes in black, silver, pink, purple and blue. $109.99.
Casio also announced it is shipping the 10.1MP EX-FC150, which provides a 5x optical zoom lens and Casio’s high-speed capture technologies. By combining two popular modes found in its predecessor, the EX-FC100, Casio says the EX-FC150 is equipped with “easy-to-use shutter-lag eliminating best shot scene modes.” The EX-FC150 automates Casio’s high-speed pre-recording and continuous burst modes into five best shot modes.
