Samsung Unveils HMX-T10 Full HD Camcorder with User-Friendly Slanted Lens

Ridgefield Park, NJ—Samsung Electronics Co. unveiled the HMX-T10 camcorder with Full HD recording and a newly developed 10x Schneider-Kreuznach, 20-degree slanted lens designed to eliminate arm and wrist strain while recording.
Small enough to carry anywhere, the slim HMX-T10 incorporates a 2.7-inch touch-screen LCD and can capture 4.7 megapixel still images, with optical image stabilization, and 1080i Full HD video footage at the same time.

To enhance the consumer’s experience and achieve professional recordings, the HMX-T10 employs an advanced BSI (back-side illuminated) CMOS sensor said to provide twice the sensitivity of conventional CMOS sensors. Samsung claims this feature “dramatically reduces image distortion and delivers clear video and images, even in low-light conditions.”
Other enhancements to the recording experience include the camcorder’s smart auto functionality where the camcorder chooses the best settings for conditions, an SD card slot and the bundled intelli-studio 2.0 software for managing and editing movies and images.
